We started way back in 1977.  Life began as The Pine Shop of Southgate Street, Bury St Edmunds.  A small but beautiful shop in the heart of town.  It did us proud for many years but everyone must fly the nest someday!  In 2013 we finally spread our wings and chose to land in a spacious edge of town place:

Welcome!  We are Edmunds & Clarke Furniture Ltd, an independent family run furniture shop with product value and customer service at its heart since 1977.

We like individual and feel a little different to the ‘other’ furniture shops. Maybe it’s just us, but we believe you should have the best quality, best service and best prices.  There’s nothing wrong with having your cake and eating it!

We proudly supply handmade Pine, Oak, Painted & Bespoke Furniture, and more recently Home Accessories to you, our lovely customers!  Based in the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds in the heart of Suffolk, we have everything under one roof. Our offices, a fabulous showroom, and our warehouse crammed full of stock.  We deliver across the UK (and beyond, should you wish!) and pride ourselves on providing a fast and friendly service.  Since starting in 1977 we have grown to become one of East Anglia’s finest furniture shops.  Our showroom is open 9am-5pm Monday – Saturday and 10am-4pm Sundays. You can browse and buy any items in our portfolio online 24/7.

We provide free parking and disabled access, so why not pop in, grab a coffee and peruse to your heart’s content.  (We promise not to hound you with a clip board for an order) But of course we will be there if you need us.  If you are looking for ‘proper’ solid wood bedroom, dining, living or office furniture supplied with outstanding service, you are in the right place.
