When Clayton’s Kitchen contacted us, they knew exactly what was needed. Clayton’s is a beautiful restaurant set in the historic town of Bath. The brief was for a traditional yet streamline range of furniture, painted in an up-to date colour for a cosier feel.
Catching The Eye Of The Diner
After a consultation we found that our open rack kitchen dresser would be just perfect to store retail items. The big wide open rack catches the eye of the diner offering preserve’s, chutneys, olive oils etc to take away.
It did not stop at the dresser… to complement it we found that our farmhouse tables & chairs would be perfect. And of course, can be painted in any colour you require! A specific request from our client was a high gloss paint finish to contrast a matt lime-washed oak tops.
Falling Into Place
Opting for a mix of blue and white, and when in situ they looked wonderful and somehow pulled everything together. Giving a contemporary twist to our classic farmhouse furniture. It was a great pleasure to be part of this project. We have since taken orders from diners at Clayton’s Kitchen where they had spotted our furniture.
